>> Alert for Designers <<
Hello everyone,
A recent grievance was brought to our attention which has forced us to take necessary action. We understand the designer's need to protect their works when it gets pirated, hence we invented the Ban & Remove tools in the Advance Option. However, a mass pinkification was made recently and resulted in a continuation of the pinkified paranoia. This not only creates a big grievance to the customers, but UVD as whole. The violator/designer decided to sell their personal texture codes to users, and mass pinkified them for whatever reason they saw fit. No refund was guaranteed for the customers who didn't meet certain behavior expectations from the violator/designer. This is a blatant fraud and a direct violation on UVD General Rules. This action has resulted in the violator/designer's UVD membership being suspended for an undisclosed period of time.
When designers selling their personal code and handing it out to customers directly, for which payment is done directly to the designer's Utherverse account. There is no record in UVD, therefore customers are totally without protection from us. If you are a victim of event that happen outside our system, then there will be no valid proof you can provide UVD to out the fraud designer. We created this system and policy for reasons, so as to ensure your protection. It is the customer's choice to do the transaction within the system or to put yourself in a more vulnerable position.
We were able to identify the first violator/designer and take the necessary action because we received the proof firsthand from the bulletins of the violator/designer themselves. However we do not have records of their customers, therefore we can't guarantee that you will get your rays back if you're one of their victims. Not only for the customer, let this also be the lesson for the designer to not violate the General Rules. Your actions will not only hurt other designer's reputation, you will also lose your UVD membership.
Another issue we want to bring up here is about texture removal of grabbed (free) items by designers from user's Style Wardrobe, to be put on sale. This is also a violation on our General Rules, in which we forbid you to use the Advance Option for the sale benefit. You are only allowed to use this tool for protecting your texture from being violated! If any of you are victim of this kind of event, DO NOT DELETE THE PINKIFIED ITEM FROM YOUR WARDROBE! Send us a report about this, we will investigate to prosecute the violators/designers. We're waiting for you in Support.

Server Maintenance Downtime
Hi everyone,
As you're all aware, the server load has been very heavy since the recent upgrades, and we've experienced some glitches as a result. We've had some instances of codes not getting generated, and today we noticed that the sales page is not displaying correctly. It's not always getting all the data and will default to "Refunded" if the server hiccups when the page is loading. Dont't panic if you see this, we've checked the transaction records and all the data is still there, the query just isn't completing before the page displays.
So, tonight's the night for server maintenance to speed things up and scare the hiccups away! We'll be pulling down the server at 10 p.m. PDT.
When the maintenance is done, we're expecting the website (especially the catalogue browsing) will run fast again. We hope to have everything finished within a few hours after the down time.

Un-Pinkified Progress
We understand that the recent mass pinkified event have upset a lot of users - especially the RLC old timer who use the very first version of UVTexSync. This reorganizing needed to be done so you will not encounter any problem to use the "orphan" textures when our development reach to a certain point. Before you go ahead and delete all of your pinked wardrobe, please read the following information.
As the "orphans" identified, the textures are coming back slowly. We realize that skin has personal value to users, thus we put it as priority. So far we have identify the following:
We are going to continue to report the unpinkified progress here. If you can help identify the other "orphans", we will be waiting for your email in support channel.
You can rest assured that this is the last mass pinkified event from UVD officially. Although it cause some great pain, but we have sort out and reorganize ALL textures now. While we progressing the identification, we are closing the door to the past slowly and moving forward.
Thank you for all your patience.

Mass Pinkified: UVD Server Clean Up
Hello everyone,

Today, we just nuke about 15% of our textures that are orphaned (uploaded from the old UVT system where there is no record on who upload them). DO NOT PANIC. If you own the original textures that just get mass pinkified, you can reupload them by yourself from your UVD account. Or if you have a list of textures get pinkified, you can contact us in the support mail with the proof of your ownership (aka your original texture file) and your name tag on your texture for identification. We can unpinkified them all at once.
We are humbly sorry for the inconvenience. This have to be done to keep the database organized before we release the sale tools for designer where you can shop with them properly. We are waiting any pinkified texture identification from you at support.

Hopefully these new little things will keep you busy to get your catalogue entries neat before the selling tool kick in!

Designer Advanced Options: User Banlist
To give solution on the ongoing illegal texture code selling events, we offer designer advanced option to remove/ban specific users from using their textures, along with complete list of whoever grabbed their works. You can find the new tool on your user navigator box, or here.
Unfortunately there will be no end to code stealing. UVD can't offer a complete secure texture code sharing because we don't have legal authorization to access user's edit avatar page from Utherverse. So the most we can offer is the tools for the solution, the rest will be community effort to keep close eyes on the jungle and alert everyone when there is fire.

UVTStyle Catalogue Release!!
Hello everyone, time for an update. The new catalogue is RELEASED! Finally our services are back to everything we offered before - with many improvements. The selling tool will be release pretty soon, so all items in the catalogue will remain free until then. If you wish to set a price for your outfit in the future, please keep them "unpublished" until the feature is released.
New Texture Security System
In the light of the recent fraud events, we came up with a solution by making a copy of the texture for everyone who grabs it. Designers will get a list of people who purchase that item. If a user is found guilty of abusing the texture they grab, we/the designer themselves can nuke that one texture without having to disrupt other people who use the same texture. The texture will have a random code after the texture name so users cannot guess it.
You will also find the Vanessa Skin Set and the Real Female Skin from Nightshadow1 in the new catalogue. These are community textures, you do not need a UVD subscription to use them. Nighty didn't get the chance to decide to distribute his textures widely through UVT because of his absent status, but it's known widely by the public that he shared the texture freely for everyone. Since the majority of the community requests it, we decide to host until the majority says otherwise. Note: We are considering to host RudyVasalino's textures in UVTStyle as well. If you have his textures and want us to host them, please send them to our email. We will remove his textures from anyone's personal texture list very soon to avoid users taking advantage of his textures when the selling tool is released. Everyone CAN be a coordinator for his textures once we host them in our account.
We are also introducing UVTStyle iT! Fashion blog. Every week, we will put up a review of an interesting design. Check it out now to catch the latest style we spot on!
We are sooo in love with the new catalogue and can't wait to share with ya all. 'Nuff said, go perv it!

Catalogue News
New features released! Since there are a lot of changes in our system, we will release the new toys bit by bit to avoid confusion. In this release, there will be:
The catalogue viewing is still disabled. We have released the catalogue entry organizer tool first so everyone can participate in our development by re-organizing your catalogue information. The more entries you fix, the faster we can finish up the catalogue viewing. The reward program is still disabled and will be re-released along with the selling tool, so all the catalogue entries you make right now will be a regular entry.

Profile Account Name Change
Today we changed our Utherverse profile account name from UVTextures into UVDeviant. This change will not affect the billing system so rest assured that your subscription is fine, whether you did the payment before - during - or after the name changed.
Please notify your friends who also use our service so they will not miss-send the payment to the wrong account. There is an account "UVTexture" around, that is NOT ours. We do not held responsible for the payment to wrong account.
News: if you happen to find your new submitted textures turn into pink, please do read the use of "Expedite" before you use it. I know the word expedite means fast and sure it sounds so good, but this option only allow you to use your texture for 1 hour. This is for testing texture only, it'll get self-deleted and show as pink after it expired. If you want to keep your texture for long period in the server, please leave that checkbox alone.
We've generalized our texture submission system. All texture - private upload and catalogue entry, will needed to be uploaded through one texture submission page first before have more option. For catalogue submission, you will find an option in your texture list to wrap them all together and sent as catalogue entry. There will be no different submission channel for singular and catalogue entry. So if you want to submit a catalogue entry before our system is ready, you can start to do it now so your friends will able to see your design inworld.

!!IMPORTANT NEWS!!
Beware paying for FREE items!

We aware that some people been taking advantage on the free items in our catalogue and re-post the codes on their own catalogue (or a display area), to sell them in a price they decided.
For some people, paying 10-20 rays for a nice outfit they see is not expensive at all. People like to look pretty, even as avatar. But they don't know that those designs are FREE to begin with by the designers, and this lack of information is what being taken advantage by the blood suckers. 10-20 rays maybe is not much, but if there is a price to pay for a work as appreciation, they should be all goes to the original designer, not the people who put the codes on their own catalogue/display area.
The solution for now is a temporary overwrite of the ripped textures with our Pinkified texture in the server until we fix the problem. If you log inworld and see yourself being Pinkified, do not panic. That means your beloved designer's work is protected from being ripped off now, and they will all be available after we sort out the security issue in the next release. So, be Pinkified with pride!
We do not support this "code selling" at all, and in the next release we determine to take care of this problem. If you would like to help us out, the best you can do is help us inform people as many as possible that those textures are FREE items from our catalogue, so they will know better to not pay for what they can get for free, while we working our magic from the background here.

Recently Utherverse 3D introduced a new texture storage system that put all clothing textures online, to be dynamically downloaded as needed by users in world. You just need to log in to the 3D world and everything will be loaded from the online resource server.
UVTexture has adapted to these changes. Our primary role now is to be the gate keeper to deliver your custom textures to the online server and let everyone see them in world. We have also taken this massive change as an opportunity to upgrade what we offer our users, to expand our services and provide more value to the U3D community. As you can see on this website, there are many changes that have been implemented now, and many more to come in the future. System Maintenance Status & Update
Hi everyone,
We've upgraded our server again to provide a faster respond on the website before we get to add more new feature in our service. Following are what we're dealing:
Fixed Problem:
- Failure in withdraw system. Any withdraw error now should get fixed at the nearest hour through the automate routine.
- Missing code in Wardrobe. All users must have already received the missing codes by now.
- Transgender skin is now supported. Works just like genital skin for male/female, but using the letter V instead of P. Please read our FAQ for complete information about the file naming.
Problem that we still looking into:
- Along with missing code in the Wardrobe, the transactions that came along with it also missing. We are currently in the process of retrieving any and all information on missing transactions. There are over 1 trillion comparisons to perform to make sure everything is accounted for, and then we have to implement the fix. Without harassing UVD's servers, this might take upwards 10 days before we have any relief.
- PINK: For some reason, the Utherverse cache system won't clear up the folder even after perform disk clean-up. This have cause the revision texture with same name cached and continue to shows as pink. We're still looking for the best solution, for now what best for you is to always submit a different file name for the test texture. Example UMUT_UVT_Test01.png, and then UMUT_UVT_Test02.png, etc.
- WHITE: We received reports on textures that have been approved and shown up OK inworld, turn into white after few days. As the textures turns up OK in our database, we're still looking on what cause this issue.
As we're connecting the dots from the support mails, with the limited access we're looking to to rid the problem first before stepping in the solution. We understand your frustration to have all the problem fixed, and we thank you for your patience.

- Please note that the purchase funds from the last 24 hours sales are "escrowed" to let the shopper try them on and if they should request refund. UVTStyle Catalogue & Styles Wardrobe in Maintenance
In anticipation for the traffic on UVTStyle Catalogue when sale tools released, we need to work out some kinks first to ensure the smoothness of the sales process. We don't want you to lose your customer with the refund requests because of the bugs we have in our system.
The bugs we've sorted out:
- Skins texture bug that prevent you from sharing the crotch part on the catalogue, has been fixed.
- Styles Wardrobe bug that prevent IE users from delete outfits, has been fixed.
- UVTStyle Catalogue bug that make "Grab" and "Buy" process slow, has been fixed.
We received reports about the bought/grabbed textures show as grey in world. This is inworld rendering problem and it is out of our hand. If it cause you discomfort in shopping texture without able to try it properly within the Refund Policy time, we suggest you to only shop with designers you already know/trust, or don't buy anything until the rendering issue fixed.

UVTStyle Catalogue Shopping System (Beta), and Refund Policy
For all UVD subscribers, you now get to shop avatar texture with UVTStyle Catalogue Shopping System (Beta). You can find some sale items from our tester designers.
To get start, you browse the catalogue and buy the item like how you "grab". If you do not have sufficient funds in your UVD Unused Balance, you will be asked to deposit rays into your UVD Unused Balance. You can do it by sending rays to UVDeviant Utherverse Profile. All automated transactions will happen inside the UVD system thus you need to have sufficient funds for the transaction. You can see your UVD balance in Account Option. From the same page, you will find your UVD Transaction History. If you encounter any problem in the purchasing process, please send us support email.
To be fair to both the customer and the retailer, we are introducing Refund Policy.
Instructions for Shoppers:
- After buying an outfit, You are given 24 hours to check the purchased item and to request a refund. So try out your purchased outfit immediately before the period time expired.
- The Refund Policy ONLY grants your request if the purchased texture is completely different from the display image. A refund request that is different from the reason mentioned above (for example: you don't like how it looks on your avatar; you change your mind for the purchase, etc.) is not protected by our Refund Policy. You can find the Request Refund option in your purchased item detail at My Styles Wardrobe.
- Before you request a refund, understand this: It takes 5 minutes for your purchased texture to be sent up to the online server. Also please make sure you have UVTexture selected next to each file name before you save the texture on your profile. Also, due to issues with UV rendering, it may take a couple of times logging in and out before the texture shows. If the textures are showing in world as gray, then it is a UV rendering issue. Try logging out and back in.
- Of course designer gets to consider the refund for the reason outside our Refund Policy, you can still try but the decision is up to the designer. Designers will be given 3 days to fix the dispute with the you. If you and the designer fail to reach a resolution after the period time expired, the report will escalates to UVD admin and we will make the final decision in no more than 1 week.
- To request a refund on a purchased outfit, an additional 10 rays will taken from your UVD Unused Balance to be put on hold. If your reason for refund is eligible - or the designer decide to grant your request, your 10 rays will be sent back to you along with the refund, and the outfit will be pinkified. If your reason for refund is other than what is protected by our policy and get denied after it escalated to UVD admin, your 10 rays will be retained as service fee. You can cancel your refund request at anytime.
- If a designer take back their sale texture from you, they will required a refund. However if their intention to take away the texture from you is to sell back to you in higher price, please report this kind of abuse to us.
- We strongly encourage you to do the transaction within Shopping System, because we can only protect your rights and guarantee you the Refund Policy if you shop in that system.
UVDeviant reserves the right to change or amend the Sale System and Refund Policy at any time.
Instruction for designers will be released along with the sales ability for everyone. In meanwhile, the practice of "Pay or Pink" is still prohibited in the current "grab" system.

- Female Skin: Fiona Skin, Vani Skin, Yavanna Skin, Busty.
- Male Skin: Spencer Skin.

New Feature Released
Hello Designers,
I'm sure everyone has been waiting for the selling tools to be released. We humbly apologize for the long delay. We're expecting to release the tool this week or next week. We feel the need to do more testing to ensure the shopping system has as few flaws as possible.
In meanwhile, we have added some little features for you to enjoy before the big one:
- Few missed meshes are added into My UVTStyle meshes list. OtherMesh: HF_SkirtGown.gml, HM_lowerbody_skirtmini.gml, HM_lowerbody_skirtmedium.gml, HM_lowerbody_skirtlong.gml, and HM_lowerbody_skirtgown.gml; HairMesh: HM_HeadPlane.gml; If we still miss any, please shoot us a Support mail about it and address it to Saki.
- If you own a VWW texture store and/or a website for your texture work, you can enter your details in Advance Option. Your VWW and/or URL link will show up along with your entries in UVTStyle Catalogue.
- You can create picture slideshow for your catalogue entries now by add more images. You will find additional Image option on My UVTStyle page. If you own old catalogue entries with poor quality image, now you can delete and re-upload a better display.

- Ability to do catalogue submission. We've implemented a new system that will allow the submission of more detailed information but with a much simpler process. For more specific how to do it, the best way is by try it yourself. It's quite simple.
- Ability to change information of your catalogue entries. From the submission page you can change the name, add descriptions, add tags (submission keywords for search engine), add/remove textures that assembled the outfit, and add categories to fit your submission (important: you need to organize the categories for all your entries in order to show up in the new catalogue. You can choose more than one category but 5 is the max number). The more complete information for your submissions, the better our catalogue browser will find your work and it will eventually benefit you when we release the selling tools. Please note that the status of all catalogue entries (from old and the new one) is unpublished. When you finish adding all the necessary information and feel its ready, you then can choose to publish it.

New System, New Website!

To celebrate our reborn, every registered user will be given 30 days free subscription to try out our new system and get used around. Click the register button to join now!
Recently Utherverse 3D introduced a new texture storage system that put all clothing textures online, to be dynamically downloaded as needed by users in world. Now it no longer matters if you are a new U3D user and not using any third party custom texture distribution program, you are not required to download the files to your computer anymore in order to see custom textures!
This blog-like homepage will be used for any news we release as a better form of communication.
What it is being released now:
- There is a new registration system to validate your subscription automatically right after you make the payment to the UVTextures account. You do not need to manually find and enter your trans ID to us anymore! If you subscribed to our old system before, your subscription will be carried over to the new system once you register. You will be able to track your subscription status in your UVD user account, and pay again whenever you like. The subscription fee for one whole month is still 5 rays, and your subscription time will expand based on the amount of rays you send in (1 ray will work too).
- Your user account will track all of your textures, where you can see both singular texture submissions and catalogue submissions you have made. In the next update you will be given tools to control your submission: to delete, or re-submit if you have a revision of the file. You will also able to add the missing meshes in your catalogue submissions.
- 100% safe UVTexture texture submission (without going to the catalogue).
- For designers: a temporary expedite texture submission option. The file will go to the UV online server without a hold for review so you can test the texture inworld on your avatar right away after the submission. The texture will be auto-deleted after 10 minutes, and can be overwritten if you upload the revision texture with same filename. If your work is ready to be officially distributed permanently to the server, the same filename will not be a conflict.
What will NOT be released for now:
- The catalogue is still disabled until the next release. Submission to the catalogue is still available but the entry & codes will be on hold, although the textures that come in with the submission will go into distribution if they pass all the criteria - you will still able to see them inworld.
Please take your time to browse around and get used to the system. Hope you like the change!
Blessing,
UVD blogmother
